The Foundation Receives National and International Awards

We are pleased to announce that the Foundation, in partnership with Rees
Productions, LLP and Ward and Ames Special Events, received a coveted Telly
Award for our 2015 literacy awareness video entitled "We Can, We Must." The
video was selected out of 13,000 entrants in the category of Social
Responsibility. Entries were submitted from all 50 states, as well as from five
continents. We are honored to know that our video portraying our crisis and the
uniting of the community around the literacy cause was internationally
recognized.

In addition, the Jefferson Awards Foundation recently awarded a LEAD360
National Activation Award to the Foundation for our work in the Houston
community through volunteer mobilization and activation in LEAD360's category
of Education and Literacy. LEAD360 powers innovative youth service ideas,
empowers the country to act with maximum impact, and collects that impact to
demonstrate the power of collective change. Each year the Jefferson Awards
Foundation recognizes America's greatest individuals and companies that are
changing their communities, our nation, and the world through public service.
We are truly grateful for both awards that celebrate our commitment to literacy
and the impact we are making in the Houston community.
