Literacy Partner Network meets for third quarter session

The Foundation and its fellow literacy partners reconvened for its third quarter Literacy Partner Network meeting. With 33 individuals from 16 organizations in attendance, the group discussed best practices in organizational partnerships and explored potential collaborations to address Houston’s literacy crisis. Keynote speaker Mark Brown, Chief Executive Officer of West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM), shared his experience leading a non-profit that partners with community organizations, churches, corporations and businesses, to fight hunger and homelessness in Houston.
