Clive Cussler is the Grand Master of the American action adventure novel, whose books have reached The New York Times® fiction best-seller list more than 20 times. He began writing in 1965 and his first novel, Pacific Vortex, was published in 1973 and his latest, Typhoon Fury, was released in 2017. He has gone on to publish in fiction, nonfiction, and children’s classics. Cussler is an expert authority on shipwrecks and the founder of the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA), a 501C3 non-profit organization named after the fictional federal agency in his novels which dedicates itself to preserving American maritime and naval history and searching for lost ships of historic significance. His books have been published in over 40 languages in more than 100 countries. Clive has three children and four grandchildren. He lives in Colorado and Arizona.
Jim Gaffigan is a Grammy-nominated Comedian, New York Times® bestselling author, and multi-platinum-selling performer. Governor John Kasich
John Kasich is the 69th and current governor of Ohio, having held the office since 2011. In 1978, at the age of 26, Kasich won a seat in the state senate, becoming the second youngest person ever elected to the Ohio Senate. From 1983 to 2001, Kasich represented Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives where he chaired the House Budget Committee from 1995 to 2001. In 2000 and 2016 he sought the Republican nomination for President of the United States. Between his time in Congress and as Governor of Ohio, Kasich wrote three New York Times® bestsellers: Courage is Contagious, Stand for Something: the Battle for America’s Soul, and Every Other Monday. His most recent book, Two Paths: America United or Divided, was published in 2016 and chronicles his Presidential campaign, his concerns for America and his hope for our future.
