Reading superheroes cruise into Crosby library
Curiosity Cruiser, a partnership of the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation and the Harris County Public Library System, works to boost literacy in under-served communities. The Cruiser offers a variety of programs, including reading and sharing stories, building with LEGOs and team-based activities. Free books are also distributed. The Barbara Bush Foundation Ladies for Literacy Guild has donated about 15,000 books for the effort, which is aimed at pre-kindergarten children through 8th grade students.
